The novel follows Osamu Sakai, whose childhood friend Urara Saiki is missing. As a ping-pong ace, Urara was trying to pay back her father's 80 million yen debt by entering an underworld ping-pong competition where rich men gamble on players who wear gothic lolita outfits. In order to save Urara, Osamu also makes a life-threatening gamble.
