When he notices that his stepson Hikota is hungry, Mitsuro seizes the opportunity to prepare him a meal. Hoping Hikota will finally call him "papa," the middle-aged man gives it his all in the kitchen, but his questionable dish choices confuse the young boy. Still, Hikota gives them a try and begins to learn that food—and people—should not be judged by their looks.
