Takahashi, a salaryman for a large construction company, is sent to the small, southwest Asian country of Tarkistan for work. After a 16-hour flight, he's met by the somewhat suspicious branch manager Nakaido and his driver, a local woman called Sena. After gradually getting accustomed to life in the country, he starts to fall for Sena. Eventually, he loses his passport and is unable to return to Japan.
